SISTERHOOD AT THE HOUSE CHURCH
What is Sisterhood at The House Church?
Sisterhood is a small group-like setting for ALL women 18 and up. Whether you’re a college student, a grandmother, married, or single, have children, or an empty nester, you’re welcome to join a Sisterhood small group. Sisterhood sisters come from all walks and stages of life!
A Sisterhood Sister agrees to commit to a small group once a month for six months. She will be the guest of honor at a Host Mom’s home along with the other young women who attend. She will enjoy Christian hospitality through a meal, friendship, fellowship, and Bible study.
A Sisterhood Mom is a Christian woman who honors Go and agrees to help guide and influence a younger Christian sister. A Mom is any seasoned woman who is single or married. She either does not have children or her children have already graduated high school. She is a woman who is passing on the legacy of faith and fellowship. She may serve as a Host Mom who shares the hospitality of her home or as a Helper Mom who assists the Host Mom with food preparation, activities and/or Bible lessons. A Sisterhood Mom commits to a Heart Group for a six-month season.
WHEN DO SISTERHOOD SMALL GROUPS MEET?
Groups will meet monthly from October through November, and again from January through April on the second Sunday night of the month for a total of six meetings.
